Science is a place where facts and objectivity reign supreme while politics is a blend of perspectives and opinions. So what happens when science and public policy collide?

This week our roundtable guests are Emlyn Koster, Director of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences; Terri Lomax, Vice Chancellor of the Office of Research, Innovation and Economic Development at North Carolina State University; and Scott Huler, a Raleigh-based writer who blogs for Scientific American.

They all join Host Frank Stasio to discuss the intersection between science and politics.
