Tickets Remain For Military Members For Marlins-Braves Game At Fort Bragg
A few remaining tickets are available for a Major League Baseball game at Fort Bragg, but only to people holding military IDs.
Most of the tickets for the game between the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins have already been given away to troops and their families.
The July 3rd game is a one-time thing, and the stadium’s temporary stands will be dismantled after its done.
The field itself, though, will remain for the troops. Fort Bragg plans to keep it for recreational softball games and multi-purpose use.
It’s being paid for by Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, which say the game will be a tribute to service members.
The general public can’t buy tickets, but the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
It’s the last night of a three-game series between the teams, with the first two held in Atlanta. The Braves will be designated as the home team here, too.
