The Grammys 2006

Feel Good Inc.

Gorillaz with De La Soul are up for a "Record of the Year" Grammy for the song "Feel Good Inc."

We Belong Together

Mariah Carey is up for several Grammys, including "Album of the Year" for The Emancipation of Mimi and "Record of the Year" for "We Belong Together."

Gold Digger

Kanye West is also up for "Record" and "Song of the Year" for the CD Late Registration, featuring the cut "Gold Digger."

Number One

John Legend is a nominee for the "Best New Artist" category for his break-out CD Get Lifted.

Everybody's Changing

Keane is also a nominee in the "Best New Artist" category for their album Hopes and Fears.

Just Might (Make Me Believe)

Sugarland is up for "Best New Artist" for their CD Twice the Speed of Life.

Rebuild America First

Merle Haggard is one of several artists who'll receive a Lifetime Achievement Grammy. He released a new CD in 2005, Chicago Wind.

Fine Line

Paul McCartney, who's never won a Grammy as a solo artist, is up for "Album of the Year" for Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.

Hollaback Girl

Gwen Stefani is up for "Album of the Year" for Love, Angel, Music, Baby and "Record of the Year" for the song "Hollaback Girl."

Advisory: This song contains adult language

Chicago

Sufjan Stevens was overlooked by the Grammys this year. But a number of critics independently picked his CD, Illinois, as "Album of the Year" and Sufjan for "Best New Artist."
