With a sweet vocal sensibility and a gift for a good tune, singer-songwriter Krista Detor instills in her work the distinct cultural flavors of her varied travels. Her songs have been compared to those of Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and Laura Nyro, and she's collaborated with Carrie Newcomer and Tim Grimm in the stage show and CD Wilderness Plots.
Detor's latest album, produced by David Weber, is titled Cover Their Eyes.
The set is rounded off by Julie Adams and the Mountain Stage band, who rework Killing the Blues, recently recorded by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
