Rick Moody, from 'Diviners' to One Ring Zero

Rick Moody is known for his dark 1994 novel, The Ice Storm, which director Ang Lee later made into a movie. But he is also a songwriter with a country band, the Wingdale Community Singers.

Recently, Moody has searched for a way to combine his two loves -- writing and music -- by working with the experimental group One Ring Zero.

Moody has just released a new book, The Diviners, a lighter, more humorous work that focuses on the entertainment industry. His previous work in print was a memoir, The Black Veil.
