For many, the culminating musical event of the holiday season is the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day concert in the Austrian capital. An annual tradition for the past 65 years, the concert is a celebration of songs from the Straussian era, featuring "Tales from the Vienna Woods," "The Blue Danube Waltz" and the rousing "Radetzky March." Lorin Maazel conducts this year's concert from the Golden Hall of the Musikverein.
