Some United Nations attorneys working as defense attorneys for accused war criminals at the Rwandan war crimes tribunal in Tanzania are accused of bribing their clients. It is the accused criminal's duty to choose his or her own attorney. By offering gifts to the accused, attorneys can improve their chances of being chosen.
