You may not know his name, but you know his music. For the past 30 years, Peter Buffett has provided the soundtracks to films like Dances With Wolves and the Emmy-winning miniseries 500 Nations. Though most of his solo career has revolved around instrumental New Age and electronica, Buffett has in recent years started to sing on his albums.
In a session from World Cafe, Buffett performs his 2009 single "Amarcord" and "Blood Into Gold," the song he wrote with pop star Akon for the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
