That’s a video on YouTube about Evatran – a start-up company based in the Research Triangle region that's installed six prototype wireless charging systems so far. Companies like Google, Hertz and Duke Energy have already tried it out. Raleigh will be the first municipality to participate in the program. Evatran says electric vehicle owners have struggled with charge cords or the “leash,” as they call it. The Plug-less Power units will soon be installed in three municipal parking lots in Raleigh.
