Songs We Love is a series and a podcast that looks at the stories behind some of the songs we're playing on our new music discovery stream, WUNC Music.
This Saturday is Record Store Day, a worldwide celebration of record stores and the people that keep them afloat in the age of streaming and digital downloads. To celebrate, we invited some local record store owners and managers to come by the studio and tell us about what they've been listening to lately, and what the occasion means to them.

We wrap up our series with a visit from Enoch Marchant from Nice Price Books and Records in Raleigh. Enoch talks to use about the title track from the latest Daniel Romano record, 'Modern Pressure.'
Marchant also talks about what Record Store Day means to Nice Price. He says that he and the crew there gets obsessed with some of the more esoteric releases that wouldn't have much of an audience if they were released any other day of the year. The release he's most excited about this year is a 5LP set of the complete recordings from Johnny Cash's legendary Folsom Prison concerts.
