Cary Town Council

Since Cary's former town manager has resigned over spending concerns, residents and leaders across the Triangle have questions surrounding how the town has spent its money. Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht says he wants to be more transparent to those with questions about what happened.

There are three council seats up for election in Cary this year. Although nonpartisan, each race features one candidate endorsed by republicans, and one endorsed by democrats.

The majority of North Carolina's towns and cities will elect new members to their governing boards on Oct. 10 or Nov. 7, depending on their election format.
