Sarah Shook and the Disarmers

Sarah Shook and the Disarmers are back with their second release. Years is the follow-up to Sidelong which came out on Bloodshot Records in 2017.  Shook and her band spent much of the past twelve months on the road, earning a growing fan-base of people who like their powerful mix of outlaw country and snarling, punk attitude. And there are some pop touches on the new record as well.

Sarah Shook and the Disarmers play the Cat's Cradle tonight.

Eric Hodge hosts WUNC’s broadcast of Morning Edition, and files reports for the North Carolina news segments of the broadcast. He started at the station in 2004 doing fill-in work on weekends and All Things Considered.
