Kathryn DeHart

Kathryn DeHart is a daily news intern with WUNC for fall 2025. She is a junior at UNC Chapel Hill studying journalism and public policy.

Kathryn has previously worked for The Daily Tar Heel, the Hickory Daily Record and the Winston-Salem Journal. She’s also worked with the Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media. Outside of the newsroom, she likes to spend her time outdoors or rummaging through a good yard sale.
