Legendary guitarist, singer and songwriter Neil Young turns 65 this year and shows no signs of slowing down. He's released nearly an album a year for the past decade and is about to put out an inspired and ambitious new record featuring only his voice and guitar. Le Noise was produced by Daniel Lanois, who added some expansive studio effects. But at its heart, the album showcases Young's gifts as a lyricist and musician in their purest form. Le Noise won't be out until the end of the month but you can hear a preview cut called "Walk With Me" on this edition of All Songs Considered. Also on the program: New music from the gritty rock group The Black Angels, an amazing Led Zeppelin tribute album, folk artist Abigail Washburn, New Orleans-based band My Jerusalem, and the return of '80s pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark.
