WUNC Wins Four 2020 Green Eyeshade Awards

WUNC has taken home four 2020 Green Eyeshade Awards, including the top honor for radio breaking news reporting and third place in digital coverage across all media outlets.

The Society of Professional Journalists recognizes the best journalism in the southeastern United States. Journalists in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia are eligible.

The 2020 Green Eyeshade Awards were given to WUNC in the following categories:
