Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton celebrates with Jonathan Stewart after the NFL football NFC Championship game against the Arizona Cardinals, Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, in Charlotte, N.C. The Panthers won 49-15 to advance to the Super Bowl.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton says he feels "super" after last night's NFC Championship game. Carolina beat the Arizona Cardinals 49-15.

Newton threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more, but he says Coach Ron Rivera and his staff deserve much of the credit.

"I can say one thing, we were coached extremely well," says Newton. "We were very prepared for this game and doing the things that we were doing, it wasn't just skill. It was the preparation."

Rivera honored wide receiver Ted Ginn with the game ball after his 22-yard touchdown run.  Ginn thanked quarterback Newton for his successes.

"You know, we don't get a lot of credit as receivers, but we've all been in the right space at the right time for his, and that's all you can really ask for."

The Panthers will play the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl February 7.  The Panthers are the early four-point favorite.
