The student-created March for Our Lives movement is on tour throughout the United States. They will stop in Greensboro tomorrow evening.The goal of the “Road to Change” tour is to educate, register and motivate young people to vote.
The rally will include speeches by some of the founders of the national movement and local organizers. It is the only North Carolina stop on the group's tour.
Some of the survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, will make an appearance. The movement was created in response to gun violence in schools and other locations across the nation.
The rally is set for Wednesday, Aug. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro.
