WUNC Spotlight: Feel the beat of Race, Class and Culture Reporting

WUNC Spotlight: Feel the beat of Race, Class and Culture Reporting

Join us for a special WUNC Spotlight event with the Race, Class, and Communities reporter Aaron Sanchez-Guerra and editor Elizabeth Baier. This hour-long conversation will take you behind the scenes of the Race, Culture, and Communities beat—how stories come together, what sparks curiosity, and what it takes to shape timely, thoughtful stories for audiences across North Carolina.

During the session, Aaron and Elizabeth will take a look at the production process, talk about their favorite stories and moments in the studio and in the field, and listen back to clips from memorable conversations with the community. We’ll close with a Q&A where audience members can ask questions about the show.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Race, Culture, and Community beat, meet the voices behind the mic, and discover how Aaron navigates telling stories about the diverse community of the Triangle region.

Space is limited, and this event includes complimentary lunch — reserve your spot now!
