Join us as we celebrate the conclusion of Take a Walk on the Broadside: Durham with a special collective walk led by Anisa Khalifa, host of The Broadside, and Charlie Shelton-Ormond, producer of the podcast.
This guided experience will bring the walking tour to life with behind-the-scenes stories, and insights from the team who created it. Whether you’ve already explored the tour or are joining for the first time, this is a unique opportunity to walk through Durham’s hidden history together.
We’ll move through all six stops as a group, pairing each location with additional commentary prepared exclusively for this closing event.
We’ll kick things off at the front of the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and keep the stories rolling—literally—with audio played out loud on our traveling boombox, and commentary from the creators. Come celebrate Durham’s hidden stories with us, one last time!
The whole loop takes 1.5 hours, be prepared to walk ~2.5 miles (see the map of all the locations here). You're welcome to peel off whenever you want.

During the session, Jeff and Leoneda will share a behind-the-scenes look at the production process, talk about their favorite segments and moments in the studio, and listen back to clips from memorable episodes of Due South. We’ll close with an open Q&A where audience members can ask questions about the show.
