With a state budget impasse about to enter its third month, legislators in Raleigh are adjusting their approach.

This Week in State Politics saw several "mini budgets" advance at the General Assembly.

Rob Schofield of the progressive N.C. Policy Watch and Becki Gray of the conservative John Locke Foundation review that budget development, as well as a case before the state Supreme Court dealing with racial bias in jury selection.
