After a year on the road, Durham-based duo Sylvan Esso has gathered pals for a concert and campout near home this weekend. They'll join tUnE-yArDs, Wye Oak, Helado Negro and Well$ at Shakori Hills Saturday.

Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso have carved out a niche some call electronic indie-folk-pop over the course of two albums. The more recent is called What Now. The duo also conscripted friends from Megafaun and Moutain Man to rework some of their most popular electronic songs for the Echo Mountain Sessions EP. Next, the band is headed to Europe.
