North Carolina teams NC State and UNC are preparing for this season's ACC baseball tournament.
The No. 8 seed Tar Heels are competing in a play-in game tomorrow against Virginia Tech. Meanwhile, the Wolfpack got the No. 6 spot and will play Notre Dame on Thursday. NC State head coach Elliot Avent said he told his players to take advantage of the break.
"Go back and sleep in the bed you grew up in as a kid. Get away from baseball," Avent said. "There are some nagging bumps and bruises like all ball clubs have. Rest up a little bit and we'll go back to practicing tomorrow."
The Wolfpack lost two out of three to No. 2 Louisville in its most recent series. The ACC tournament continues through Sunday at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. You can check out the tournament's schedule here.
