The Panthers Are 9-0 After Defeating The Titans

Carolina Panthers

In the NFL, the Carolina Panthers beat the Tennessee Titans 27-10 yesterday. Now, they remain the National Football Conference's only unbeaten team.

Cam Newton connected on his first 11 passes and finished with a touchdown pass and touchdown run. He was 21 of 26 for 217 yards as the Panthers extended their winning streak to a league-best 13 games.

"We had game after game after game where the stakes were high," Newton says. "They're gonna get higher each and every week. We know we're gonna get every team's best."

Coach Ron Rivera isn't ready to comment on the buzz about playoffs.

"We take it one game at a time, but it's the elephant in the room. I mean, we can't deny that," Rivera says. "It's really about the next game. It honestly is."

The Panthers head to Washington, D.C. next Sunday to play the Redskins, who are 4-5.
