The filing period for legislative and congressional candidates concluded this week and every race will be contested in 2018.

Becki Gray of the conservative John Locke Foundation and Rob Schofield of the liberal N.C. Policy Watch agree that is good for the voters, who will have a number of issues to consider when they head to the polls later this year.

In addition to the mid-terms, this week's conversation also focuses on allegations of sexual harassment made against a Democratic member of the North Carolina House.
