PHOTOS: A Day Of Mural Painting In Durham

This past weekend, a collection of local artists gathered to paint graffiti and murals outside the Duke Arts Annex.

The event, know as Mural Durham, brought together local Durham artists and the Durham community for a day of mural painting, local food, music and fun.

Local artists involved include: FRANCO, Brenda Miller Holmes, Heather Gordon, Victor Knight, Bart Cusick, WOEM and Sergio Sanchez.

The following day, artists Brenda and Franco Holmes returned to continue work on the murals.

The mural had to be finished by the end of the day on Sunday, October 23, 2016, so artist Brenda Holmes worked all afternoon sketching and painting the side of the Duke Arts Annex.
