Audra Mae On World Cafe

Audra Mae has a compelling natural sweetness to her style that simply calls for attention. With a smooth, quietly subtle voice and an interesting mix of jazz, country twang and pop sensibilities, she describes her music as "a cross between Patsy Cline and Janis Joplin, but maybe more like Bonnie Raitt."

As the great-grand-niece of Judy Garland, Audra Mae found that music came naturally to her. In a session from World Cafe, she performs songs from her new album, The Happiest Lamb.
