Midtown Dickens' Kym Register and Catherine Edgerton have been friends since they were 16. They started making music together, even though they could barely play instruments at the time, and their first venues were living rooms, basements and parking decks. Thirteen years later, they’re releasing their third album, "Home." Midtown Dickens talks with Host Frank Stasio and plays live in the studio.

Frank Stasio

Longtime NPR correspondent Frank Stasio was named permanent host of The State of Things in June 2006. A native of Buffalo, Frank has been in radio since the age of 19. He began his public radio career at WOI in Ames, Iowa, where he was a magazine show anchor and the station's News Director.
