Quarterback Cam Newton led the Carolina Panthers to their 18th-straight regular season victory Sunday. They beat the New York Giants 38-35.  Newton threw for five touchdowns to build up a 28-point lead before New York stormed back to tie it with less than two minutes remaining.
"It's not fun. It's fun to watch I'm pretty sure, but it's not," said Newton. "I think I got a couple gray hairs."

Panthers kicker Graham Gano's 43-yard field goal as time expired kept Carolina's perfect season intact.  They are 14-0.

Carolina Coach Ron Rivera scolded his team for getting flustered.

"You are human, and that's what that proves right there. You have to stay focused, maintain your focus when you play a game. Good football teams with good players like this can come back. They can attack you and they can give you a hard time because you don't stay focused."

Carolina heads to Atlanta next Sunday before hosting Tampa Bay to finish the regular season.
