There are two informal gatherings this week in which the public is invited to share ideas about the future of downtown Chapel Hill, including the development of Rosemary and Franklin streets. The project is called Chapel Hill Downtown Imagined:

The community drop-in sessions are noon to 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, 140 W. Franklin St., and from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Tru Deli, 114 Henderson St. In early August there will be a larger community meeting in which organizers will share a draft of a "concept map" and a plan for the downtown area.
