Friday morning, the Senate will hold the first congressional hearings with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy as complaints about slow mail delivery pile up.

Democrats worry that DeJoy's cost-cutting measures could also throw a wrench in increased voting by mail this fall.

DeJoy is set to appear virtually in front of the Senate Homeland Security Committee. NPR will carry live coverage of the hearing, beginning at 9 a.m.
