• Former glam rock icon Gary Glitter was sentenced to 16 years in jail for child sexual abuse.  

• The “Blurred Lines” copyright trial continues, with embarrassing revelations for the artists involved.

• Friday will become the official day for global album releases. Previously albums were released on different days in different countries.


Rock Doctors: Jim and Greg talk to a listener named Sandy from Chicago who wrote in saying she was recently divorced and needed a dose of new music to salve her heartbroken wounds. Jim prescribes an album by Summer Cannibals, while Greg goes with a Metric album.


Jim and Greg review Rose Mountain, the 6th release from New Jersey punk band Screaming Females.
