ANNOUNCER COPY: Coming up…Jim and Greg highlight some under-the-radar music gems you need to hear. And is Madonna lucky with her 13th album release?

• Hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot report on the verdict in the closely followed “Blurred Lines” copyright trial. A jury of eight concluded that songwriters Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams borrowed significantly enough from the 1977 Marvin Gaye hit “Got to Give It Up” to warrant a $7.3 million payout to Gaye's children.

• Albert Maysles, whose 1970 film Gimme Shelter followed the Rolling Stones on their US tour, has died aged 88.

Jim and Greg share a new crop of musical Buried Treasures. These are under-the-radar gems that you won’t find on the Billboard charts, but that deserve your attention. This batch of treasures includes albums by the Los Angeles-based Cambodian band Dengue Fever and Bay Area duo The Dodos.

Jim and Greg review Rebel Heart, the 13th release from controversial pop star Madonna.

At the end of the show we hear comments from listeners.
