Greg Hawks' new album contain nods to classic country, 1970s pop/rock, rhythmic soul and his roots in the American South.

Greg Hawks says his new record is a culmination of all of his musical influences. That means the songs on I Think It's Time contain nods to classic country, 1970s pop/rock, rhythmic soul and his roots in the American South.

Hawks recorded the songs at his home in Chapel Hill and then enlisted the talents of Chris Stamey to mix them.

His topics include social media, politics, and personal relationships. Hawks gets a lot off his chest on this record.

You can hear more songs from Greg Hawks online at WUNC Music and in the Triangle at 91.5 HD2.
