Spend part of your semester applying your classroom skills in the real world.
Interns will work directly with Digital Editor Carol Jackson, and station reporters, as we build WUNC's digital presence.
Students will:
- look for story ideas
- write stories
- conduct image and archival research
- produce multimedia content
The ideal candidate will be a curious person who is a strong writer, with experience manipulating images, video and sound.
WUNC Digital is located in Durham at the American Tobacco campus. Interns must be available to be on-site 15 hours a week, over two or three days.
Many WUNC interns have gone on to secure jobs in public radio.
