Brother and sister Angus and Julia Stone are known for their distinctive voices and intimate arrangements. Julia's hushed tones resemble a more traditionally pretty Joanna Newsom, while Angus goes the sensitive-baritone route. While they've earned a solid fanbase throughout the world, the Stones are immensely popular in their native Australia, where they're currently in the middle of a series of sold-out concerts.
Before kicking off the tour Down Under, Angus and Julia Stone spoke to World Cafe host David Dye about recording their fourth full-length album, Down the Way, and what each sibling has been up to in the time since. They also took to the stage at World Cafe Live to play three songs and preview their North American tour, which begins in October.
