A prolific songwriter originally from Jacksonville, N.C., Ryan Adams has been writing songs since he was 15, and hasn't slowed down since. After his band Whiskeytown disbanded, Adams' 2001 solo album Gold marked a major popular breakthrough, even winning high-profile praise from Elton John.
Adams has already built a vast catalog of solo records, including last year's Cardinology, but this 2007 set for Mountain Stage finds him showcasing material from that year's Easy Tiger.
