Bred in the Catskills Mountains and nourished by the music of Bob Dylan, The Felice Brothers' members play earthy, energetic Americana. In a session with host David Dye, the band performs songs from its latest release, Yonder Is the Clock, and explains why it was recorded in an abandoned chicken coop.
Though the band's history is brief, its musical output is not. Since 2006, the group has released five albums. Yonder Is the Clock combines expertly woven storytelling with an undeniably raucous Appalachian sound.
