Marla Hansen sings gentle folk songs with a beautiful, honest voice. Bittersweet melodies and lyrics come together for the overwhelmingly charming songs on her EP Wedding Day.
A young, classically trained violist, Hansen's instrumentation is flawless. She adds special touches by plucking and strumming her viola. Beautiful harmonies rise and fall on the chorus of "Shuffle Your Feet." The featured song, "All Clear," has a uptempo drumbeat that rumbles below the chorus.
Marla has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists like My Brightest Diamond, Onieda, Sufjan Stevens, and Kanye West. She currently lives in Brooklyn and performs shows throughout New York with My Brightest Diamond members Sebastian Krueger and Nate Lithgow.
