Before embarking on his critically acclaimed solo career, singer Mark Olson was a founding member of The Jayhawks. Since the band's demise in 1995, he's maintained a reputation as one of the most respected singer-songwriters in roots music. Olson stopped by the Bryant Park Project studio to talk about being the subject of a new documentary, dealing with lame bar crowds at shows, and his most recent album, Salvation Blues.
