McDonald: 'What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?'

On New Year's Eve, singer Audra McDonald will ask and answer a question at the same time, by singing "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" And with a heck of a back-up band: the New York Philharmonic. McDonald is this year's special guest at the Philharmonic's annual year-end concert at Lincoln Center in New York, featured live on PBS at 8 p.m. ET. The two-hour concert features McDonald's favorite movie songs, from the famous and familiar ("Over the Rainbow") to neglected gems ("10,432 Sheep"). In this video segment, Performance Today host Fred Child talks with McDonald about her last concert of 2006.
