North Korea Abandons Nuclear Treaty

Host Bob Edwards talks to NPR's Eric Weiner about North Korea's announcement that it's withdrawing from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. The government in Pyongyang says it will resume construction on a nuclear generating plant but has no immediate plans to build nuclear weapons.
