Carrboro songwriter Billy Sugarfix is used to writing songs about other people. Clients of his business, Custom Serenade, pay him to take information about their experiences and turn them into indie tunes. Sugarfix has just released his debut solo CD called "Summer Tempests," a clever collection that includes songs about failed romances, wooing women with wind instruments and poor male hygiene. Sugarfix joins host Frank Stasio to talk about the inspirations for his whimsical lyrics and to play live in the studio.
