Daniel Fischer has an odd ability. He knows when the people around him are being written as characters in books. Unfortunately for Daniel, he's never been the subject of any author's vision, but he plans to change that once he meets a young singer named Delia and learns that a story is being sculpted around her. Daniel implants himself in Delia's life with the hope of playing a bigger role in the book. So goes the plot of "Being Written," (Harper Perennial/2008) William Conescu's debut novel. Conescu joins host Frank Stasio to talk about the book and creating a character that has its own agenda.
