The Raleigh Quarterly

The Raleigh Quarterly

From L: RQ publishers Billy Warden and Greg Behr

Not many people have it in them to take on Apple CEO Steve Jobs.  But Greg Behr and Billy Warden just couldn't sit still after reading the following comment from Jobs in the New York Times: "It doesn't matter how good or bad the product is, the fact is that people don't read anymore."  Behr and Warden decided to counter Jobs' claim by starting a literary magazine called "The Raleigh Quarterly."  The publication showcases creative talent from around the country and, if the duo has its way, will help make Raleigh an appealing place for artists and writers to take up residence.  They join host Frank Stasio to talk about encouraging reading in the digital age and their big plans for the second issue of the magazine.
