Thad Cockrell was known for singing about heartache in the tried-and-true country mold when he decided to try writing “the songs he didn’t know how to write.” Now he’s finding fulfillment working on a new album exploring the human condition. Cockrell joins host Frank Stasio to talk about his artistic transformation and play a few of his new songs.
