Understanding Eddie Hatcher's Legacy

Eddie Hatcher became notorious in 1988 when he and another man held the staff of The Robesonian newspaper hostage, demanding an investigation into local law enforcement corruption. Hatcher died last week in Raleigh's Central Prison. The Rev. Mac Legerton was witness to the takeover and to the two decades of social and political change that followed. He talks with host Frank Stasio about Hatcher's role in North Carolina history.
