At the age of 20, photographer Charles Dennis was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Before he passed, he spent more than a decade capturing images of North Carolina's Bald Head Island. He also became known as the "root ball man" for his stunning pictures of uprooted trees in Raleigh after Hurricane Fran. For the first time, his photographs are on display in an exhibit organized by his wife, Susan, who joins host Frank Stasio to recount her late husband's life and work.
