In the past two years, members of the Durham rock foursome Red Collar quit their day jobs and cashed in retirement plans in order to pursue their dream full-time. They performed more than 100 shows in a few months. But life got in the way. One broken arm and one newborn baby later, the band’s pace has slowed considerably. But lead singer Jason Kutchma is using the break to do more solo performances and to fine tune his craft. He joins host Frank Stasio to play from Red Collar’s album, “Pilgrim,” and to preview some new work.
