David Cecelski has made a career of telling the stories of North Carolina. An oral historian, he has recorded conversations with all sorts of people in every part of the state. Many of them were distilled in his column, which ran in the N&O for more than a decade. On today’s program, David Cecelski shares some of fondest memories. They include a chat with the only resident of Kinston willing to talk about his experience in the town’s infamous brothel. And a story about the Boy Scouts that Gary Grant never thought would be told.
