A new film festival is out to prove that beauty can be found in the strangest places. There's the story of a man who adopted a crow as a family pet, a woman who turns trash into public art, and the wild imagination of a young boy reluctant to face reality. These images and many more come together at the Strange Beauty Film Festival in Durham. Its organizers, Jim Haverkamp and Joyce Ventimiglia, as well as a few of the contributing filmmakers join guest host Laura Leslie to talk about capturing the world in all its terrible glory.
